DRA-GON

In a little English town, there lives a Christian Pastor, named David Lewelin, who runs the local church. A decent man believing that God gives us a direction to follow and God will lead. That was greatly challenged when David became a parent to a grey dragon named Dra-Gon.

David found an egg, that looked like old stone, in a rock quarry buried from the sunlight. Liked old things and geology is right in that category. Figured it would serve as a nice door stop for one of Church's oldest main doors that never wants to stay open. David was not thinking it was going to hatch. The egg was quite old waiting to be exposed to light.

Dra-Gon is a typical child accepted by the town as just one of those weird things that a new pastor brings to the job. The ears flap over  as they are bigger then Dra-Gon. This matches his too large wings resting the back. Not to forget the the tail. Size of a log which slides about as Dra-Gon walks tending to trip him often. Covered in scales so clothes are not a requirement but at times appreciated. After all one must be fashionable.

Why the name? David couldn't think of anything better so he placed a hyphen in the middle shifting the pronuniation. Awkward at times; very curious; naive but well-meaning. Dra-Gon is allergic to mound; ragweed and wool which causes like anyone, to sneeze. Flying is not easy at this point. Again too big are the wings, but do at times catch the wing and Dra-gon goes with it.
