Every month a new spotlight shines on a theme where each day of that month a new character or concept is revealed. Television; Pop Culture; Mascots; Cartoons; Films or maybe a season. Nothing is off the limits.

MY FAVORITE TOP 20 INSTRUMENTAL TV THEME SONGS

Sometimes a really good theme song for a television series, whether drama or sitcom, is one with no words at all. Shooting right at an emotion instead of a catchy tune with self-explanatory lyrics of said show. Not all these shows I like, but the theme songs are very memorable to me. I like music what can I say? Of course, many of these are from my childhood and may not be as newer as some of the readers here may know. A good history lesson cannot be missed, right? 20. Matloc

MY DREAM GAME

Those familiar with the original 1981, ‘Donkey Kong’? Who remembers, ‘Super Mario Brothers’, 1985? No, duh, of course, we all remember...

I'M GLAD YOU STAYED

I was thinking today, yeah I know big surprise. Back in November 2001, my Grandmother took a bad fall before Thanksgiving. I took care of...

CRITICS

I do not listen much to critics. Especially movies or music. They aren't a authority on the topic they review. They are offering an opinion. Probably paid a lot for said opinion. Might encourage to highlight certain products that they may might be affiliated or paid to? I rather listen to many different views on toys and comics from people who actually pay for them. Makes more sense to hear from the consumer, not actor or paid celebrity endorser, looking at you professional c

NEVER REPLICATED

Everyone has a color. Everyone has a gender. Each and everyone has a personality. Unique and special. Not to stand in line of first to last, but side by side. Outside of personal perception, no one is comparable to another. An individual who is defined by living that unique life that God gives.

MY FIVE ABSOLUTE FAVORITE TV SHOWS FROM THE 1980’S

I do not watch a lot of live action TV shows. If something is on then I may watch it but most times I prefer cartoons. I still am a huge animation fan, but there are still a handful of TV shows I will watch and go back to. Why these shows? Simple, world building. These had excellent characters that were easy to relate to. The reoccurring side characters were a nice touch too. These worlds evolved and changed from the start to end of show runs. Locations; show directions and c

The surface of the sea life home can be cut with a butcher knife. Whatever life lives beneath should never fear to get cold because...

I IDENTIFY AS A COUCH

If I had to be anything but me, I would probably be a couch. I am comfortable; been sat on by my daughter; her friends; nieces and nephews through their little child years. Like some TV and prefer a nice beverage and pretzels. Don't mind a little bit of a mess and I am disheveled at times. Shown some age but still welcomed by friends. Don't mind a good nap either. Overall, I am comfortable in spite of a few broken springs and matted cushions. Wear it well I think. Did I menti

It’s that time again.

Time for me to say hello and check on each and everyone of you. Make sure you all doing okay. I know we worry about stuff and it can be at times crippling. We are not alone. We are all in this together, just at different depths. God lives in this world and we are not forsaken. We see a chunk of life but not the whole picture. By reacting in a positive beat is which shows God is reaching out. Through each of us as we are kind; forgiving; loving; hopeful; merciful and accepting
